A Pilgrimage to the Motherland

On the one hand, we're taking a 4 week vacation...Taj Mahal, Diwali, Rishikesh, my beloved Himal...

On the other hand, we're taking a 21 day course at Yog-Ganga...where word on the street is we'll be working harder than any yoga we've experienced before....but then again, maybe our source was trying to scare us .....he also mentioned a yoga-toned ass, which would definitely be a good thing, because at the moment, I have a desk-chair untoned ass.... computer screen-induced hunch in my shoulders... and a unenlightened mind...definitely unenlightened...

Nothing like a thousand downward dogs to set things right.

Before I go:
1. Eat a hamburger (check) - "live veg" is the mantra at yog-ganga
2. Drink wine (check, I mean CHECK!) - "be on the wagon" is the mantra at yog-ganga
3. Pack light (check) - that is the mantra of, well, me

My one and only goal? Do not bring shame to my long-time yoga teacher Joy.

Forecast of 85 and sunny in DehraDun, India.

First up: MSP-ORD-DEL

Stay tuned....
